The Name Says It All.
THUNDER: is the sound you hear after the flash of Lightning across the sky.
BOW: Is the name of the river that flows from its source at Bow lake through Banff National Park where Kim started guiding inflatable rafts trips over four Decades ago. Bow River was named by the Peigan first nations people meaning the river where bow reeds grew used in the making of their bows.
EXPEDITIONS : Kim’s Passion is exploring the last untouched Indian Himalayas and sharing those beautiful places and cultures with you.

Kim’s great appreciation for cultures and wild places started at a young age seeking out elderly from both European and native cultures, lending them a helping hand when needed and listening to their stories about their amazing lives.
Kim has incorporated their values into his everyday life. Kim is still going strong at over 60 years, guiding River Expeditions and trekking expeditions in Canada and the Indian Himalayas.
